Spring were instructed by an occupier seeking to relocate and expand.
Initially, we inspected a property which was under refurbishment, and highlighted issues which in combination caused the client to seek alternative space.
We subsequently inspected floors of an alternative property which was due to be refurbished to a landlord’s standard. We highlighted some key points, which were resolved by the landlord either undertaking to perform specific work, or vary the service charge provisions in the leases, facilitating an agreement. We subsequently represented the tenant during the handover of the completed Category A landlord’s works and assisted in monitoring the tenant’s Category B fit out works.
