Surveyor, Cricketer, Golfer and all round sport enthusiast. When I'm not looking at buildings you can find me on the cricket pitch, cycling the Surrey countryside or out on the golf course. Basically find me anywhere but stuck indoors!
Most parts of the building surveying profession, however, managing refurbishment projects and dilapidation instructions keep me coming back for more.
My career thus far has largely involved undertaking dilapidation surveys and refurbishment projects on a variety of property types for a variety of clients. I particularly enjoy seeing a project through to completion, working with investors and conscientious contractors to specify and manage construction work in order to return space to a rentable condition and achieve the highest possible rental income.
What makes you get up in the morning?
Coffee……and after that it would have to be experiencing new challenges, new places and new people. Being a surveyor allows me to do all of these on a daily basis. I enjoy the variety that comes with the job and the fact that no two days are ever the same.
You are only ever as good as your last piece of work, therefore always give it your all but always make sure you have fun along the way.
